Are Kajimono gis pre-shrunk?

How should a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gi fit?

Care & Maintenance
How do I wash my Kajimono gi?
Wash your gi in cold water to preserve fabric integrity and prevent shrinkage. Hang dry or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid bleach. Wash your gi separately for the first few washes to prevent color transfer.
Can I use hot water or bleach on my gi?
No. Hot water can cause shrinkage and damage fabric fibers. Bleach weakens the fabric and can cause discoloration. Always wash in cold water without bleach to maintain your gi's performance and appearance.
How often should I wash my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gi?
Wash your gi after every training session. This prevents bacteria buildup, odors, and maintains hygiene on the mat. Proper care after each use extends the life of your gi.
Will my gi shrink?
